The real star and super star Upendra 49th birthday was held at his residence in Kathriguppe with family members and fans coming early in the morning.

Upendra mentioned in his address that he is not interested in celebrating birthday as the Cauvery issue is very sickening to state of Karnataka. ‘Cauvery water is first important not the birthday’ – Upendra made a direct statement.


I will be happy only when the permanent solution is given to this Cauvery water issue creating ruckus between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu he pointed. That will be a big birthday for me he opined.

At his residence fans came with cakes to present for Upendra. The camera, clap board shape cake and portrait of Upendra as gift among many other happiness expressed by fans.


Director cum producer Chandru R, Kari Subbu, Loki and others were present at Upendra residence.
